Electrical service for homes & businesses.

Electrical repairs, HVAC circuits, subpanels, and surge protection in Winston-Salem and the Triad. M&A plans the work around your equipment requirements and existing electrical system.

How we can help

New equipment deserves an electrical review—not an assumption.

A replacement system may have different electrical requirements from the old one. We review the supply, circuit needs, and possible wiring route before recommending the scope. For repairs, start by telling us what changed and which rooms or equipment are affected.

01

SPAN smart electrical panels

M&A is a SPAN Authorized Installer. Ask about a panel that helps you see and manage circuit-level energy use. We evaluate your existing service and project needs, then confirm model compatibility, installation scope and price. A smart panel does not replace a backup power source or guarantee energy savings.

02

Electrical diagnostics & repairs

Tell us about recurring trips, inconsistent operation, or affected equipment. We assess the issue before recommending repairs; you do not need to identify the faulty component yourself.

03

HVAC circuits & disconnects

Planning and installation for the electrical supply serving replacement HVAC equipment. Existing wiring is evaluated rather than assumed suitable, including the access needed for a new run when required.

04

Subpanels & equipment connections

Review circuit arrangements for equipment such as an air handler and electric heat kit. Whether a subpanel or new wiring is needed depends on the property and equipment—not every changeout needs the same work.

05

Surge & voltage protection

Discuss surge protection and equipment-specific voltage-monitoring options as part of your project. We confirm the application and scope; protective devices do not guarantee that equipment can never be damaged.

From our work

High Point ACiQ changeout: the electrical work behind the equipment.

On this M&A project, the outdoor unit needed a new line from the panel to the disconnect because the original wiring was not the right size for the new unit. Indoors, the existing panel-to-unit wiring was retained, and a subpanel was added to serve the air-handler and heat-kit circuits. We added surge protection at the subpanel and installed an outdoor disconnect with surge protection and voltage monitoring. This is one project's scope, not a standard package required for every replacement.

Common questions

Helpful answers before you call.

Do I need to know what is causing the electrical issue?

No. Describe what you are seeing, hearing, or experiencing and which part of the property is affected. M&A can use those details as the starting point for a professional evaluation.

What details help with an electrical service request?

Share the symptoms, affected rooms or equipment, when the concern began, whether it is recurring, and the property location. For a planned project, include what you want to connect, install, or improve.

What should I do if an electrical concern appears dangerous?

M&A does not provide emergency or after-hours response. If there is fire, smoke, immediate danger, or a downed utility line, move to safety and contact emergency services or the utility company as appropriate.
